With the proper care such a covering will last for 20-25 years, and if you use the wood of the so-called “iron wood” (azobe)- for all of 50 years. The simplicity of the finishing process is much valued by assemblers – all they need is a smooth surface, and the manufacturer has already seen to fitting, joint accuracy and convenience of assemblage. Prices vary according to board size.
